Hello,
Any news when PPC factory will be updated? i386 had updates also this
morning, while PPC had nothing in the past 10 days :-( Support for our
new machine ( http://www.pegasosppc.com/efika.php ) became available in
the 2.6.20-RC kernels, but current PPC factory has only the 2.6.18... Bye,
CzP

Hmm, the flags line shows 'ht' so this CPU should have hyperthreading.
What does hwinfo --smp report ?

Hi,
openSUSE has still some problems with memory limitations and with ZYPP
killing the fist stage installation when all logs are stored in memory
only - it's sometimes very hard to get them.
To reduce the memory limitations or log to a safe place, you can use a
new article:
I found it myself:
During Install someone selected failsave and that added to grub/menu.lst:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18.2-34-default root=/dev/sda6 vga=0x31aapm=off
acpi=off mce=off barrier=off ide=nodma idewait=50 i8042.nomux
psmouse.proto=bare irqpoll pci=nommconf resume=/dev/sda2 splash=silent
