can you please describe your problems more detailed?
OTC should run on 64Bit hardware and 64Bit-Java, even this is not really
supported.
I know about an issue (not tracked yet) in the starter-script. Sometimes it
does not find the correct wrapper.
2 GB should be sufficient.
