because of a problem with the library path. From an X terminal I can set
LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include the lib folder for freerdp and manually run the

Export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/freerdp/lib;/opt/freerdp/bin/xfreerdp -f
--no-nla TSFarm
As a workaround this is at least functional, but is not particularly pretty.
