I am at the moment testing openthinclient in kiosk mode. My current setup
is as follows and if all goes well it will be used by 300+ users.
1- openthinclient server installed on windows 2003 machine on the same vlan
as the thin clients to reduce pxe boot traffic to a single vla
have a VM (WIndows 7) for every user with
which he/she connects (after authenticating with Active Directory) using
the FreeRDP application so over the VPN I would only need to establish an
RDP connection to my VM.

I have a fully documented ubuntu install which I did recently but it was a
fresh install and I am afraid I cannot help you with the migration of the
configuration. If you do not have a lot of users/changes it might be worth
starting a fresh config but obviously that is up to you. If som

In Malta they cost around €80 but you need a 24 pin ATX connector ideally
so you would also need an additional PSU. they use more or less 15W~20W of
power when powered on
