Same here - I see bits hinting that there are memory resource issues on the one Linksys brcm47xx with PCMCIA (WRT54G3G). Check out trunk/target/linux/brcm-2.4/patches/009-wrt54g3g_pcmcia.patch. There's no equivalent patch for 2.6, and commit #8475 actually added a LINUX_2_4 as a dependency for pcmcia-cs.
