I just tried this here and do not get any warnings or errors and the
table is properly built:

I just tried this here and do not get any warnings or errors and the

cat /usr/share/doc/libopenxpki-perl/examples/schema

Had a similar problem with an external database configuration.
I addressed it in a heavily modified script that I beefed up from from the demo
script.
