[opnfv-tech-discuss] 答复: [Auto] Deploy kubernetes on ARM server using Compass4NFV

Joe Maybe to use “Node” is more understandable here. Say a six servers’ cluster, there is a blade used as a jump server and other five blades will be nodes to host the infra layer. This is exactly how we deployed in our lab. So in the end six server will be one Ubuntu (jump host) and five

Harry, I’m a little confused - what is the host OS? If jump host is ubuntu, then what is the host that is running Centos? Thanks, Joe > On Feb 26, 2018, at 9:42 PM, huangxiangyu wrote: > > Sorry, joe. I didn’t make it clear there. I mean the host OS can only be

Sorry, joe. I didn’t make it clear there. I mean the host OS can only be centos for now, the jump host OS compass installer requires is still Ubuntu. The build.sh will check the cpu architecture then build things accordingly. Here is a link of Jenkins output of k8 scenario on arm for compass:

Hi Georg I would like to take the same step to reassign as a committer to Dovetail. I recall the discussion we had back in the PlugFest in Orange last year to remain as a committer in order to see through the first release of Dovetail and OVP. Now with that goal successfully accomplished, I'm

Hi, Ross and Bryan. I also cc Kanglin and Qiujuan here, who are the main contributor for these test cases. I think to consider containerized openstack service is important. It’s important that we consider upgrade the testcases in the future releases. What is your suggestions, @Kanglin &

Harry, Just re-read this and noticed I missed a big important thing. This supports only centos7 on arm, for now. My jump server is currently running ubuntu 16.04. I probably won’t tear the jump server down and re-deploy centos7 on it at this point. Does this use-case of Compass

The Yardstick HA testcases are not setup for k8s OpenStack. I think the original k8s support was designed for running VNFs in containers and not necessarily to control OpenStack containers. It may be possible to implement HA testcases that use the node context to ssh into the k8s master and
