Very short answer: Master and slave share binaries, so they should use the "same kind" of operating system (e.g. 32bit Linux). Easiest way is to install two identical base systems. Using the virtual appliance as slave server should work flawless, though I've never tried the VM. -- kind regards, H

[opsview-users] Creating reports does not work

Hi, I a trying to generate reports but it does not work from Web UI (generating Adhoc report) and CLI. Opsview is "Build: 3.5.1.3761" and OS is a "Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS" and java (as recommended) is at version 5. See below for java debug messages. Do I overlook something? Is there someone having
