I think running *any* system in this modern age without some kind of
firewall
I am not a lawyer but I think they have a contract with you. You paid them
money and they have to provide you a host. Very simple. If they shut down
your server without any comment they broke the contract. So you can go to
judge and force them to fulfill your contract. If they did not even tell
"I am running a middle-man node by 1blu, and have no problems yet. But I
will migrate to Hetzner soon, so I will terminate 1blu as soon as the
new server is available."
Be sure, when terminating, to tell them that one of your motivations in
switching was their termination of tor node x. Solidarity

new contract with the CCC.
