Tor Portable

2010-12-03 Thread Koh Choon Lin
I have tried Tor Portable on both Windows XP and Ubuntu. On both platform, the included extension HTTPS-Everywhere does not work at all, ie. no rules for any site like Facebook. Is this behavior expected? Thanks for any answer to my query!

Microsoft .NET Add-on

2009-11-22 Thread Koh Choon Lin
Dear all I noticed that on Windows, Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant Add-on is installed and enabled for all Firefox installation (portable or not), i.e. including the Tor Browser Bundle 1.2.10. Would this add-on be a security risk to anonymity? -- Regards Koh Choon Lin

(no route to host). Is this due to the lack of administrator rights? Is there a workaround? Anyone knows if there is a difference between the bundle and Xerobank, apart from being portable? -- Koh Choon Lin

Am I right in thinking that most people use Tor for web browsing, over ports 80 and 443? [snip] Does port 53 [DNS] comes in too? Regards Koh Choon Lin Singapore GNU Group singapore.gnu.googlepages.com
