Maybe the developer(s) of the bundle and/or torbutton might wander along
and see this thread, and confirm whether or not javascript needs to stay
on in the browser.

We have a fine FAQ answer on this very question,
I have found that when I disable javascript in Firefox, it automatically
gets enabled on restart. I'm not sure if this it because of TorButton,

Ack! For some reason i thought Torbutton was implemented purely in XUL
but a lot of it is actually implemented in javascript.
