*Position : **ClearCase Engineer *** *Duration : 3-6 months*** *Location : NYC*** *Hourly rate : 45hr*** *Interview status: phone and face to face interview*** *2 open positions*** * * *ClearCase Engineer *** * * *ClearCase Engineer is needed to join the Enterprise Risk Management department to implement ClearCase in the ERM environment and integrate with ClearQuest and development tools. This individual must have several years experience with ClearCase/ClearQuest administration in cross platform environment. This individual will work within the Change Management Team and must have efficient project management and problem solving skills. We are looking for a bright, outgoing, energetic individual with excellent interpersonal skills who will be able to interface with team members effectively. Requirements: - Experience in ClearCase/Unified Change Management (UCM) a definite plus - Strong Unix administration skills - ClearCase design and implementation experience - Experience creating user documentation and training materials - Experience with integration with ClearQuest - Experience with ClearCase integration with IBM Rational Application Developer, VS.NET - Familiar with relational databases and client-server concepts - Skilled at Perl scripting (or equivalent skill set in a scripting language) Job Responsibilities: - Facilitate ClearCase architecture design and implementation - Define configuration and implement ClearCase VOBs, Views, Create and tune RMAN backup and recovery scripts - Understand the methods for backup, recovery, and replication of VOBs and Views objects - Implement and define procedures to manage the ClearCase security according to the Corporate policy - Implement and define procedures to manage and maintain audit and related security artifacts - Implement and define procedures to monitor ClearCase VOBs security, performance and utilization - Periodically work with developers to meet project needs and specifications - Provide physical model recommendations (storage, configuration, etc.) - Create complete and concise documentation *** -- Regards, Anand Bandarupally Ling Technologies, Inc.
