Qualifications: Project Summary - The client is in the process of upgrading the manufacturing execution systems used in the company plants to modernize the infrastructure and improve maintainability. - The new system will be replacing a legacy system and the challenge is to make a smooth transition for all users to the new system without disrupting production operations. Duties/Tasks - Participate in Requirements Gathering and Requirements Documentation - Create the Business Requirements Document - Create System Test plans and User Acceptance test plans for end to end testing and execute the Test plan. - Maintain the requirements and test plan in Mercury Quality Center tool - Participate in User Acceptance testing, User Training and Initial Production Monitoring and Support - Manage the test scenarios and cases and track the defect status - Provide regular updates on the testing status - Work with the Company's Project Manager to track work assigned to integration vendors - QA the work products to assure that the requirements are met - Prior development experience is required Desired Skills/Experience - The Business Analyst will ideally have very good documentation skills because the Business Requirements Document and Functional Specifications are going to be crucial for business acceptance. - Exposure to enterprise projects dealing with multiple teams - Exposure to testing and test management software like Mercury Quality Center - Exposure to enterprise projects dealing with multiple teams - Bachelors in Science Travel Requirements - The base location is Nashville TN, with travel to Richmond VA or Franklin Park IL as required. - The travel could be for at least twice a month with a week-long stay during each trip for Requirement Analysis and User Interviews during the start of the project, implementation, training, and cut-over work towards the end.
