*Job Summary:*
Need a Senior Microsoft *ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET> Web applications
developer to support the Capital Markets applications*. MUST be very
familiar with trade life cycle and trade processing, functional business
applications and design specifications, MUST be able to translate detailed
design into flexible implementations. Prepare required documentation,
including both program-level and user-level documentation. Maintain and
enhance current applications to reduce operating time and improve
efficiency.


*Required skills: *- Solid experience in developing n-tier applications
(business objects, console exe for middle-tier processing as well as web
app) with Microsoft .Net technology *(C#, ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>, AJAX,
HTML, JQuery, CSS, XML, XMAL, XSD, XSLT, Javascript, VBScript, DHTML, SOAP,
SOA architecture, TFS etc*.). 3+ years of this experience in the* asset
management industry* is a STRONG plus
- Experience in MSSQL Server and Oracle database design, and application
development
- Hands-on development / strong dev skills with Microsoft reporting service
for creation of reports
- Expert with *User Interface with HTML, CSS, AJAX, experience with any of
the Infragistics or third party UI controls*
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented concepts
- Practical, hands-on experience with C# implementation of common design
patterns, Strong experience with identifying and applying software patterns
in a Microsoft environment

*Fully understand impact as well as implication of Test-Driven Development
with NUnit on the quality of application *- Familiar with common
application blocks within Microsoft Enterprise Library 3.1 and above
- Experience in designing and implementing core components and developing
reusable .Net assemblies
- Experience with
*Visual Studio 2005, 2008, and 2010, .Net 2.0, 3.0. 3.5 as well as 4.0 *-
Solid understanding of large-scale database (*SQLServer 2000/2005/2008,
Oracle 10/11G etc*) and experience with writing stored procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Release
Management
- Strong *MS SQL and PL SQL Server Knowledge, Stored Procedures, Trigger,
SQL optimization* tuning skills a must
- Expert experience with using Microsoft SQL performance tuning tools to
isolate the potential issues and tuning queries for optimum efficiency
against large databases with multiple tables and millions of rows
- Must be proactive and a team player
