*SPARK, HIVE, HAWQ and YARN* *Must have these skills* Big Data / Hadoop Administrator REMOTE POSITION 3 Months Plus We have a need for a Senior Consultant with outstanding communication skills to lead an effort in Chicago. There will be some remote billable ramp up days next week, followed by a workshop onsite in Chicago the week of Oct 17. This is NOT an Architect role. ALL skills in the subject area are required and the candidates must have working experience with all of them. Please include a few bullets with your submission with the experience of the candidate for each of these skills. 1)Pre-initiation Validation (in a Secured Environment) 2)Project Initiation Workshop 3)Remediation of the GRCA application a. Assess the current application implementation and provide recommended changes for *SPARK, HIVE, HAWQ and YARN* specifically b. Evaluate the current application issue log and jointly identify issues to be remediated c. Analyse prioritised issues and associated symptoms to identify potential fixes d. Select fixes to be implemented and tested in the development and one other cloud environment e. Implementation and testing of fixes in the development and one other cloud environment f. Tuning of the development and one other cloud environment based on empirical evidence collected during testing, e.g. *SPARK, HIVE, HAWQ and YARN* parameters and in support of the application design g. Troubleshooting as required 4) Validation of designs for the EMQ and PJP applications a. Review and validate designs focusing on high-performance and in-memory aspectcs specifically 5) Document findings and recommendations 6) The person needs to lead this effort with outstanding communication skills directing the project team with findings and solutions.
