The client is looking with for a STRONG DevOps engineer. The candidates need to have experience performance tuning ATG platform. This is what will make the search a lot tougher. If you find candidates without ATG, but they are local I will still speak with them. The focus should be on finding candidates with great comm skills and with ATG experience. There are a lot of DevOps candidates in the market and the manager is aware of this. We can only submit quality candidates with genuine experience throughout the resume. Communication skills must be very good as well. Required Skills: 3+ years of experience working in a DevOps role Experience installing, configuring, tuning and supporting JBoss Application Server & Apache Web Server Experience installing and administering tools (JIRA, Bamboo, GIT, etc.) Experience with load balancing and site caching performance Experience troubleshooting issues with new releases Prior experience in Unix/Linux environment Experience troubleshooting application & web server issues Experience with Oracle ATG performance tuning Scripting experience is required Must be able to participate in Oncall rotation of website support Must pick up new technologies quickly and have the confidence to speak up and push back in meetings when needed Experience in an Enterprise-level environment Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to work in a team environment *Desired Skills: * Some exposure to AppDynamix is a plus Experience participating in the release of a complex .com environment Retail experience is a plus Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field of study *Description of Role/Responsibilities:* We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a mid-sized organization in Columbus, Ohio. This person will be joining a quickly growing Automation & Delivery team that is in the infancy stages of setting up processes. Ideal candidates will be able to pick up new technologies quickly and adapt to the ever-changing environment. This will be a mixture of maintenance/support duties and project-based work.
