Tittle : MQ Architect Duration : 2-3 weeks (plus possible extensions) Location : Little Rock, Arkansas *********************************** Very Very Short term Duration 2-3 weeks, (plus possible extensions) ****************************** Description : The key objective for the engagement is to provide senior architecture consulting assistance to review and assess the current usage of WebSphere MQ and adherence or rapid adoption of MQ best practices. Recommendations may include, but are not limited to, software and system configuration changes, upgrades, monitoring and management enhancements, performance analysis, security configuration enhancements, response to audit items, or other assessment objectives based on preliminary meeting with stakeholders and mapping those concerns to specific infrastructure management objectives. Depending on the complexity of the WebSphere MQ products and features implemented, architecture, and specific configuration specifications may be not as detailed or may require a subsequent design effort to provide detailed specifications or very complex design changes if required to meet business objectives. Responsibilities : SUBCONTRACTOR’s MQ architect will work onsite to gather the required information, obtain system data output, analyze, formulate and present findings, and prepare final documentation for the recommendations. SUBCONTRACTOR will perform analysis activities, interview and discuss any technical implementation concerns with affected stakeholders providing a recommendations document more fully described in the Deliverables subsection. SUBCONTRACTOR may document specific recommended changes to the current middleware service request process, architecture, and configuration to meet implementation objectives based on input from CLIENT, stakeholders, or other affected subject matter experts as time permits.
