*DONOT SUBMIT H1B OR OPT* *Job Description*This role is in the telematics space working on a feature and/or a number of features associated with a connected vehicle program and bringing it to fruition by guiding a combination of the businesses and suppliers organizations through the development, qualification and deployment process. This individual will gather the requirements and make sure they are set. Validate them and management/oversight of the design, development and launch teams to make sure the feature is implemented & that it works, while handling issues through each phase of the process. This is a hybrid role (PM/Technical). Review and approve Feature Definition gate documents Develop & obtain Requirements gate documents approval working w\ the various internal/external suppliers/groups to get their specifications complete. Develops and/or obtains approval of the Development gate documents. Owns the development schedule with the supplier (Panasonic, SiriusXM, FCA ICT) Owns the Defect management process for their features including all the various defect management systems. Responsible for Unit testing of Applications/Feature and a qualification readiness status prior to every qualification event. Responsible for Unit testing of applications as they are released to us from the supplier. Participates in feature release meetings and represents feature Participates in feature defect management meetings and War rooms. Owns all Change Requests and failure fixes that result in design changes.
