Immediate Need For BI Developer - Interview And Start ASAP!! Job Title: BI Developer Location: Washington, DC Duration: 4+ Months *Interview: Face to Face* At least 6 years’ professional experience in designing, developing, and being actively engaged on business intelligence projects to include use of dash boards, reports and data cubes. Competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Experience designing visual report solutions, including dashboards using Dundas and/or other data visualization/dashboard tools. Expertise in relational and multi-dimensional database schemas is a must. Advanced level of writing and reading query plans. Experience designing Star, Snow flake Schemas and OLAP cubes preferred. Exposure to SharePoint. MS SQL Server 2005 and/or 2008 Fluent in T-SQL programming language, including store procedures and user defined functions. Well versed in development Data Transformation Services (DTS) packages. Practiced in the principles of ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load). Trained in relational database modeling and normalization. Effective problem solving skills, and ability to analyze existing systems and ascertain users’ needs, and translate into clear proposals and plans. Must have the ability to work multiple projects with multiple deliverables. Must be proactive and be able to work both independently and collaboratively with staff in the IT&S division, internal customers and external vendors.
