This opportunity will give you the chance to develop infrastructure for a team building the data acquisition, storage, query, and delivery components underlying analytics applications. The ideal candidate will have experience prototyping, deploying, and maintaining clusters running a stack of open source distributed storage and computation components such as Hadoop. The Hadoop Middleware Administrator will develop, test, deploy, and maintain critical infrastructure powering a healthcare data hub. *Required Skills:* Hadoop or other open-source cloud computing platforms Unix or Linux, Java Code deployments and maintenance of application servers and infrastructure services 5-7 years of Systems Administration or Middleware Administration *Experience required*; 10 preferred Bachelor's degree (BS, BA) *Key Words:* Hadoop Administrator Server Degree Requirement: Yes- 4 year *Nice to have:* Experience working with the Cloudera Distribution Experience working with distributed configuration management (Cloudera Manager, Ansible) and data security (Sentry) tools Experience deploying and supporting Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Spark, Hive/Impala, HBase/Accumulo/Cassandra, Kafka, and/or Storm Chef, Puppet, Bash, JVM, VMware, RHEL, Git HIPAA, PCI and/or other data security standards.
