*NEED ONLY US CITIZENS OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS* LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR Project Location: Palo Alto, CA Project Duration: 6 months + *Need strong experience with HP network equipment and Servers * Ideal Skills: • Ideal candidate: Experience in automated install/deployment of Linux distros, including RHEL and Debian-based systems. • Ideal candidate: Experience running maintaining heterogeneous medium-sized clusters (100-1000 machines). • Ideal candidate: Interest in tinkering with new technologies such as distributed file systems and building new Linux kernels *Required:* • A desire to maintain and administer hundreds of machines for a set of about 20-50 researchers, working particularly closely with about 10 of them. • Experience with self-service management *• Familiarity with the auto installation tools for the major Linux distros - Redhat and Debian* *• Experience with scripting languages - Perl, Python, shell* *• Experience in setting up networks, bridges, firewalls* • Experience in setting up ISCSI, NFS • Experience in system and configuring boot services Desired: • Experience with packaging RPMs and debs. *Best Regards,Object Technology Solutions, Inc.
