Role: BladeLogic tester.

Location: Maclean, VA


· Ability to troubleshoot simple BladeLogic automation scripts
· Familiarity with BladeLogic packages and jobs used in managing various
types of servers
· Ability to create functional and non-functional test cases in HP ALM
· Ability to create the Requirements Traceability Matrix
· Set up test environments for project functional testing needs
· Coordinate testing activities with cross-functional teams
· Ability to create test artifacts such as Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test
Cases, etc
· Ability to create and setup test data
· Understanding of Unix: Unix Commands/Shell Scripts/Autosys Jobs
· Understanding of hardware: Server/CPU/Memory/Hard Disk/Physical and
Virtual
· Basic understanding of network devices: routers, switches, bridges, load
balancer, etc.
· Basic understanding of networking and the TCP/IP protocol
· Basic understanding of enterprise level storage solutions (SAN/NAS)
· Understanding of mobile devices and protocols
· Experienced in developing SQL scripts in Oracle/DB2 and Sybase database.
· Ability to think outside the box on complex problems
· Excellent communication & writing skills.
· Understanding of development methodologies such as SDLC, AGILE, etc.
· Provide testing guidance to project team
· Create test methodology documentation as required
· Work with project teams and subject matter experts to determine test
objectives
