*Title: Project Manager/Analyst* *Location: Columbus, OH* *Duration: 6 months* ** *Skills: Project Manager/Analyst with Investment Management background ideally with Eagle **STAR/PACE** migration* *Description: * The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all work efforts, reporting status, making assignments, and communication of project status to all levels of management and staff. Some hands on analysis early in the project is expected. Project Overview: This project is part of an overall strategic initiative to enhance operational and system capabilities within the Investments Division of our client. To better navigate the investment landscape and to fully drive the value out of Eagle STAR/PACE, the existing system will be moved to a newer version of Eagle STAR/PACE. Six functional components will be implemented along with the conversion to provide state of the art capabilities across asset classes. These modules will assist both front and back office functions to allow efficient operational, accounting, reporting, and portfolio management duties to take place. The success of this project will be judged by successful implementation of the capabilities outlined in the six modules to better position Retirement Fund investment activities over the next 5 years. Another objective is to assess all existing data relationships with vendors and institute additional data management discipline in the division. This will require a complete and thorough review of all data feeds, hierarchies, composites, and data processes. This project involves the analysis of all existing system inputs, reporting and data requirements, operational scheduling, implementation of new modules, creation of robust ETL packages, and successful conversion of the existing Eagle system to the new system. The current systems in place include Eagle STAR/PACE version 7.0.14. Skills/Experience: The Project Manager should have 10+ years of project management experience delivering projects on-time and on-budget, able to coordinate the efforts of a cross functional team made up of IT and Business resources. The Project Manager will have Investments Management background and experience in various accounting, analytic, and reporting systems. Additionally, the PM should be familiar with Agile Development methodologies and techniques. PM should be familiar with status reporting and planning tools such as MS Project and Collabnet Relevant Experience: Preference will be given to resources with investment and accounting backgrounds, specifically in the Fixed Income and Equity areas.
