Title: SQL Developer with ETL and QA Duration: 6 months Location: Atlanta, GA *SQL Developer Job Description* The SQL Developer should possess good technical/business communication skills to interact with both IT & business teams for understanding requirements.This include understanding and experience applying SDLC process. The Developer must have at least 6 yrs experience in the IT industry and at least 5 yrs experience hands on SQL development using in the MS SQL 2000/2005 environments. The developer must have at least 4 yrs experience using the MS SSIS development environment and should have experience with all SSIS transformers and their usage and implementation. The Developer must have good unit testing skills. The developer must be able to function in the capacity of an ETL Developer, SQL Developer, and QA Tester (analyzing source/target). *Responsibilities* - Perform source/target analysis of data structures & content - Create transformation requirements, data load & cleansing plans utilizing SSIS 2005. - Accessing data in a wide variety of formats, and get data to target format. - Query/research data and help identify missing/inconsistent data. - Design & develop a reusable database/framework, to support an ETL process - Build modules to apply business rules, transform the data and load into a data store. - Document the rational, process of extraction and business rules. - Automate the entire ETL process and send automated notifications to various parties - Should be able to work independently and also as a team member with a proactive sense *Skills* - Experience using and developing and administration in SQL Server 2005/2008. - 6 yrs of hands-on SQL programming, tuning and optimization experience.
