Scope of Work
The contracted resource, a MICROSOFT OFFICE 2007 MIGRATION ADMINISTRATOR,
will:



Provide day-to-day Office 2007 support to District end user community,
Project and Development staff, and Help Desk staff and perform any necessary
upgrade procedures to ensure a smooth migration from MS Office 2003 to MS
Office 2007.

The candidate will provide day-to-day support post Office 2007 upgrade and
compatibility maintenance prior to go-live, which is currently scheduled for
the end of July 2009. The candidate will interface with District staff, IT
staff, and Development, Project and Help Desk staff to resolve user issues.
The candidate will develop a plan in coordination with the Project Manager
to upgrade all incompatible Office 2007 documents and databases based on
priority to the District. They will also participate and share their
knowledge of Office 2007 with staff by providing appropriate documentation
identifying the process taken to ensure compatibility with each affected
system, document, or database.



Tasks and Deliverables:
1) *MS Office 2003-2007 Administration*:
a. Assist project and development team members and Help Desk staff in
resolving Office 2007 compliance and conversion issues in a prompt manner.
b. Provide written weekly status and progress reports to the Project
Manager.
c. Work to upgrade several Access Databases and Excel Spreadsheets from
Office 2003 to Office 2007.

*Mandatory Experience:
• Candidates must detail experience with a medium sized enterprise wide
(2000+ users) Office 2007 migration/upgrade
• Candidates must detail experience managing, planning, identifying, and
remediating Office 2007 migration issues
• Candidates must detail experience using Microsoft Office Trust Center

Desired Experience:
• Ability to document and transfer knowledge of findings and solutions
• Experience in developing and optimizing complex Excel spreadsheets
• Experience with Macros, VB, and VBA
