The Finance Implementation Lead will have the title of "VP of IT, Financial Systems Implementation" and is responsible for partnering with the Business, IT, and vendor teams to identify, define, plan, and lead IT enabled business solutions and services required to support strategic, operational, and financial objectives. The VP will lead the definition of the Finance system roadmap that will serve as the strategic framework for funding, development, and the associated support plans. The VP will facilitate the prioritization and approval of the portfolio of system projects, enhancements, and support services based on the scope, schedule, and budgets requirements of the business. Position Description • Incorporate the business and financial requirements of all stakeholders (e.g., NA, INT, Corp, Hotels, etc.) to develop and manage the finance roadmap which includes a migration from a heavily customized R11.5 instance to R12 • Lead the business teams, IT, and solution partners to define short-term and long-term priorities and development plans • Lead, manage, or facilitate the overall system development and deployment lifecycle depending on the project type, size, and priority • Ensure the smooth transition of Hyperion to the latest version • Develop the budgets and communicate the financial performance of the overall project • Identify leading practices and innovative capabilities that can be practically applied in the organizations operating environment • Proactively communicate and address high severity operation issues with the business unit leadership team • Conduct periodic reviews of the finance system service levels to identify improvement opportunities Maintain competitive research and benchmarking of our competitors product systems • Provide prompt and objective performance feedback to the IT team and vendors Experience, Skills & Background Qualifications: • 10+ Years - Oracle ERP Experience, Oracle Finance Implementation Experience, Functional and Technical knowledge of Oracle Financials and Hyperion. • Experience in business consulting and/or technology professional services • Strong analytical, organizational, written and oral communication skills • Energetic, self-starter with ability to lead and motivate teams to solve complex needs • Experience leading cross-functional teams • Hospitality industry experience is desirable • Education: Degree in Business or Computer Sciences • PMP, MBA or advanced degree is desirable Praveen 5650 Greenwood Plaza Blvd, Suite # 106.
