*Job Title : Quality Assurance Engineer(Jr-Mid) Location : Salt Lake City, UT Duration : 12 + months Rate : $40/Hr Consultant not more than 4 years of exp.* Skills: Working knowledge of one or more technologies (e.g. HTML, Javascript, GWT, Java, SQL, Oracle, Fusion Middleware, Oracle Discoverer).Working knowledge of one or more Automation or Performance Tools. General Job Duties: This position is the first level in the Software Quality Assurance Career Path. Incumbents in this position work as part of a project team to develop and deliver commercial software products for external and internal use. Incumbent has general knowledge and experience in IT and working knowledge of one or more technologies such as HTML, Javascript, GWT, Java, SQL, Oracle, Fusion Middleware, Oracle Discoverer, and similar technologies. Incumbent has general knowledge across a spectrum of software technologies and testing methodologies, and applies both existing and new technologies in developing solutions. Required Experience/Skills: Under guidance, participate as part of a project team to test and measure quality of products developed in support of the portfolio management process. * Use established testing procedures to ensure application is thoroughly tested throughout development and before release. * Participate in the development of new testing procedures. * Provide input in establishing program and/or project budget and timelines. * Monitor and report to management on project status, identify issues that may impede attainment of project goals, recommend and implement corrective measures. * Regularly engage with software engineers, business analysts, and technical writers as project details evolve. * Continuously expand knowledge in area of specialization. * Perform other duties as required.
