*Job Title: .NET Framework Architect.*

*Position Summary:*

·         This role is not that of a typical .NET applications developer -
this role is for people who have written *.NET Frameworks*, *built
libraries*, *plug-ins* etc. that are then used by other .NET developers in
a large/complex Enterprise Environment.
·         The typical candidate would have the mindset of thinking out of
the box with a strong learning mindset.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*

·         The requirement is for experienced *lead-Architect .NET
engineers*(hands on architects/ system developers) with strong
technical exposure in
Microsoft Technologies.
·         The candidate should have at least *10+ years of experience* in
Microsoft technologies, specializing in *.NET Framework*.
·         The candidate should have very good communication skills and
should be able to interact with the client directly.
·         He/she should be able to *coordinate with offshore team*.
·         Experience in working in *finance/banking/capital markets will be
a plus*.
·         Help create/enhance frameworks, libraries and plug-ins using .NET
that will be used by development groups across Client silos.
·         Liaison/work with silo and enterprise architects to understand
the organization's future needs that will enable the creation of the right
solutions from a technical perspective
·         Communication with users/developers from other groups to gather
requirements and analyze/address issues.
·         Investigating and fixing bugs/Participating in test execution
cycles.
·         Work with IT support and other functions to resolve issues in
releases.
·         Interact with other technology groups as needed for
troubleshooting any issue.
·         Provide timely updates on tasks and meet internal and client
deadlines with high quality deliverables.
·         Coordinate with users and developers located in different
geographic regions

*Skills Required:*

·         Must have strong knowledge of *.NET Framework version 2.0 - 4.5
including C#, ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>, WCF* (ALL MUST HAVE SKILLS)
·         Solid *Computer science background with strong
fundamentals*(MUST HAVE)
·         Candidate should have a decent understanding of basic data
structures (when to use what) and articulate the tradeoffs - candidate
should be able to articulate clearly the tradeoffs along with pros & cons
·         Experience writing a *big chunk of code* (and how to structure a
larger project)
·         Must understand *configuration*, *connection pooling*, *session
persistence*, *Web Services*, *scalability*; Understand *Http Handlers*, *IIS
configurations*/set ups very well.
·         Should have experience on *Multi-threading*, *Asynchronous*behavior
