Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and per-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. The Global Access Administration organization has a global charter that is principally responsible for ensuring proper control of access to Abbott IT and data assets for enterprise computer platforms and applications on a global, regional, divisional and local basis. Technology expert on a local/regional basis for current technologies Serve as an escalation point for technicians and Associate Analysts to resolve complex issues. Work at mid-level technical and process level Resolve incidents via the IT Service Management System per documented SLA timeframes and according to Abbott security policies Provide response to auditors seeking information on access requests, recertification activities performed by Global Access Administration Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures Works under general supervision Act as liaison between IT and business areas. Develops and documents detailed processes on direct support of business functions. Serve as focal point for new system integration into the regional GAA business processes including technical details of usel. Interact with Global IS counterparts to establish business requirements for technologies and have strong understanding of underlying technology and serve as an senior resource to develop and document processes in preparation for implementation into operational use within GAA Detect and report incidents and problems encountered during access request provisioning, recertification and lead initiatives to resolve and implement Leads team and regional-level projects according to milestones and budget and/or provides assistance and contributes subject expertise to program or project managers on phases of larger regional/global project Act as trainer and technical and/or process resource to less experienced staff and customer base Identify technology, develop process refinements and develop business cases for use in solving Access Administration user/customer issues or business challenges. Train users on needed info for technology deployments. Write User Acceptance Testing scripts for technology deployments.
