Please share some suitable profiles along full contact details. *Job Title : Oracle DBA* *Location : Owing Mills, MD* *Duration : 6+ Months* *NO H1B * Required Skills: * Implements, and maintains, ORACLE data bases in support of the development and installation of new systems for data warehouse, *E-commerce*and corporate systems. * Uses available tools and utilities to provide for necessary DBMS maintenance activities: data base reorganizations, backup and recovery, space management, performance and tuning, and change management. * Performs system administration and system management functions for ORACLE data base systems. * Assists application developers and other clients with data base usage and software development activities. * Maintains and installs ORACLE data base software, ORACLE Enterprise Planning (ERP) software, DBA ORACLE tools and the corporate repository software. * Represents DBA on departmental level technology projects and assumes project management responsibilities for enterprise projects. * Trains and counsels less experienced DBA staff members. * Enforces and maintains corporate data and data base administration policies, guidelines, and standards. * Updates and maintains corporate data dictionary and uses in support of applications development, data warehouse, and end user support * Assists application development and operations personnel in the identification and resolution of problems related to supported DBMS platforms. * Participates in 24x7 on call schedule to provide out of hours operational assistance. * Exercises independence in identifying DBMS problems and determining the necessary resources and activities for resolution. * This includes quality assurance of design, coding, recoverability, data security, and adherence to corporate standards. ___________________________________________________________________ *Tom Martin* *Technical Recruiter* Phone: 585-643-1764 *Avani Technology Solutions Inc.* Email Id: to...@avanitechsolutions.com <vidy...@avanitechsolutions.com> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
