QA Lead (HR Systems Test Lead)
Location - Columbus, OH
Duration - 2 + months (will most likely be extended)

HR Systems Test Lead
Responsibilities include: Determine detailed schedule for testing. This
role will involve working with testers and subject matter experts to
identify and develop test scenarios and test cases in HP Quality Center /
TestDirector. Facilitating the execution of the test cases with a team of
testers from multiple functional areas. Report status to project leadership
regularly. Identify and communicate issues or risks for the testing
workstream on the projects. Client has an established process for how test
cases are documented and how test execution is organized and reported out,
and adherence to this process is required. Train and mentor testing team
resources in the testing process and tools to be utilized. Directly assist
in test case development and test execution in order to supplement the pool
of testing resources.

Skills: HP Quality Center (testing management system), Familiarity with
PeopleSoft modules a plus

Skill Level:
5+ years experience in software testing. Expert in functional testing
process, including test scope identification, test requirements management,
test case development, test scheduling, and defect management.
Strong understanding of common Systems Development Lifecycle methodologies,
including Waterfall and iterative approaches like Agile / Scrum.
Proficient in using HP Quality Center / TestDirector for test and defect
management or a similar tool.
Able to Independently document and present test strategies / plans to
project and business leaders.
Experience leading multiple resources on projects; onshore and offshore.
Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills with IT and
Business audiences.
Excels at working in a project environment and on cross-functional teams.
Retail / HRMS background is preferred. Client uses PeopleSoft HRMS.

Test lead for an HRMS PeopleSoft project. While several Health Care Reform
(HCR) mandates have been implemented between 2011-2013, most are effective
2014-2015. Healthcare benefits throughout the USA are being transformed.
Some provisions require more IT support than others - for example, a new
complex process to determine eligibility for part-time associates based on
actual hours worked over a rolling period. Because of HCR, our benefit
plans must change.
