Primary focus will be around building portal container and features (including layouts, personalization, galleries), and content rendering framework, entitlements engine, etc. Qualifications: • Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on development experience with Java/J2EE/JSP applications (Java 5 experience is mandatory). • 2-3 years minimum hands-on experience with Advanced JavaScript/Ext JS/JQuery or other JavaScript Frameworks and prototype. (Mandatory Experience) • Spring and Hibernate experience with annotations, preferably with Oracle. (Mandatory Experience) • JavaScript/Prototype experience, with EXT JS/JQuery or similar frameworks. (Mandatory Experience) • HTML/CSS Markup experience. (Mandatory Experience) • Ajax/JSON experience. (Mandatory Experience) • Should have experience deploying applications in UNIX/Linux environment and a good level of understanding of UNIX commands are expected. • Should be proficient in annotations based advanced Hibernate implementations with complex relationship tables. • Proficient in core java design patterns, MVC frameworks and OOAD. • Proficient in development using Eclipse based IDEs. • Should be very strong with annotations based Spring implementation. • Should be good is AJAX/JSON implementations and its serializations/de-serialization in Java. • Should be very good with HTML/CSS. • Experience with caching technologies like Coherence would be preferred. • Database experience with Oracle preferred. • Should have experience with spring implementations using Spring Security and AOP. • Should be able to perform work with minimal guidance. • Should be very good self-learner and an excellent team-player. • Strong attention to minute detail and good communications skills are a must. • Should have demonstrated experience in completing projects on tight schedules. • Prior experience with Client Portal applications and/or portal technologies with SSO SiteMinder and/or entitlement systems would be a huge plus Thanks and Regards *Khaja* Resource Analyst Xpedite Technologies Inc.
