**LOCAL CANDIDATES ARE PREFERRED** *Reply me on rachel.l...@itbtalent.com * Position: Senior Network Storage Administrator Location: Durham, North Carolina Duration: 2+ Months Sr Network Storage Admin Job Details: Responsible primarily for day to day operation of a large storage environment in Dallas, Columbus, Sunnyvale and North Carolina. This position will require working closely with Architects in pre implementation design on Projects. Principal Responsibilities: • Manages problems for the storage arrays and SAN directors/switches. • Setup and manage automated monitoring of SAN and Storage devices. • Interacts with vendors to repair and upgrade the storage equipment. • Complete customer requests for additional storage. • Participate in projects for new customer implementations. • Evaluate and recommend changes and upgrades to our storage environment. • Reviews equipment logs. • Oncall for support 24x7. • Status reporting to Manager. Sr Network Storage Admin Mandatory Skills: This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in a large storage environment. • Knowledge of HP XP and EVA series Storage Arrays • Knowledge of Netapp Arrays. • Knowledge of Cisco/Brocade SAN switches • Knowledge of EMC VMax, VNX arrays is a plus. • Knowledge of Fujitsu Eternus Storage Arrays is Plus • Ability to plan and control projects. • Excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing. • Ability to understand and clearly relate to other members of the organization, technical manuals, software specifications, hardware principals of operations, and general methods of systems software operations. • Ability to develop Documentation and Best practices. Education • Certification and/or degree from a technical trade school or equivalent experience required.
