Java Developer Denver, CO 6 months + *Scope of Work: *This individual will be part of a software development engineering team responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, implementing, and documenting software enhancements and fixes to a large application with an end goal of 6 9’s uptime. Specifically, this person will be working on integrating a message bus tier into the existing application. The application is a critical, Tier 1 application, and is used 24/7. This resource will also perform activities such as analyzing application level monitoring tools (App Dynamics). *Major Duties * • Integrate a message bus tier into existing application • Provide software development expertise in developing a Network Monitoring platform for Client • Analyze requirements, designs and develops software applications in client/server environment and/or web deployed applications • Interact with Project Manager to understand requirements and scope the systems • Participate in unit, integration, and system test procedures • Document final program and develop user instructions, software/hardware requirements, program input / outputs and execution / installation steps • Write and manage cron jobs for a large application • Read and analyze application level synthetic monitoring • Use monitoring tools like Zabbix, BAC, NSG, App Dynamics, Wiley • Hands on experience with manual and automated software deployments • Participate in team meetings to discuss approaches to current projects • Comply with all established procedures and policies of Client • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance • Other functions that may be assigned *Minimum Requirements * • BS in Computer Science or equivalent • 5+ years in Java (Junior to Senior level) • 2+ Years working with message bus (RabbitMQ a plus) • 2+ years with MySQL, Oracle, PL/SQL and JDBC • 2+ years Unix and Unix shell scripting • Monitoring tools such as Wiley, App Dynamics, experience 1-2 years • Experience in object oriented design • Experience with automated build environment, Jenkins, Maven or Ant • Experience with high transaction volumes, high data throughput • Strong problem solving skills • Works well in a team environment • Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strict adherence to development standards Priya D 2018 156th Ave Ne Suite#341 Bellevue, Washington 98007 Office: 425-274-2461 Fax: 425-484-2220 E-mail: pr...@rmnetworksinc.com Website: http://www.rmnetworksinc.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
