*Role - Linux Engineer Location - Pheonix, AZ Duration - 6 - 12+ Months Contract* We are looking for someone who has used Redhat satellite, and has previous data center experience .. Job Description - Day 2 Day Responsibilities : You will be installing new or rebuilding existing servers and configuring hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. It will be your responsibility to contribute to and maintain system standards. Along with research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Your will include repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures. Coordinating and communicating with impacted system owners. You will apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
