You will become part of a team that has responsibility for enterprise data warehousing and business intelligence across all company lines of business. As a member of the team, you will participate in business requirements sessions, data model design walkthroughs and infrastructure reviews. You will also translate business requirements into technical database requirements and design. While serving as the SME (subject matter expert) for Business Applications and Infrastructure Solutions, you will design conceptual and logical models for the data warehouse as well as develop a deep understanding of business processes and technologies used. Additionally, you will define and/or improve data architecture and data management strategies by analyzing and documenting current data profiles and life cycles across business units. Finally, you will assist operational DBA personnel, communicate physical database designs to the database administrator, and help communicate the value of applying sounds data management standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable, driven, well spoken, insightful team player that can work in a cross-functional matrix organization.
