Position: Weblogic/Middleware Administrator Location: Berkeley Heights Nj
Duration: 6 months Global biotech firm in Northern NJ is seeking a Senior WebLogic / Middleware Platform Administrator with Strong J2EE and Linux skills. Job Description: - Lead training sessions and classes for knowledge sharing - Support UAT and performance testing. Monitor and track servers status during testing - Capable of independently solving simple to moderately complex problems - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diversified workload - Strong verbal and written communication skills, including writing ability to update tickets with status and communicate daily/weekly status - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of operations and clients services - Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills including ability to perform root cause analysis for preventative analysis - Fluent with participating and/or executing the multiple stages of testing (i.e. Unit, System, Integration, Performance, Regression). - Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation. What You Bring to the Team: - Install WebLogic and SOA Suite products. Configure and migrate domains. Automate installation using WLST and shell scripts. - Strong understanding of Clusters, Admin/Managed Servers, Machines, JMS queues, Node Managers, shell scripts. - Monitor servers using scripts, WLSP and third party tools. Log Analysis and Error resolution.
