*Job Title:** Documentum Business Process Analyst **
**Location:** Houston, TX. {Local candidate wanted.}**
**Duration:** Contract (9 months)**
**Max PAY Rate:** $45/hr C2C **

interview in Houston TX*
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Acts as a liaison between development groups and business units for the
development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of current
systems as assigned.
- Documents all business work process, functional and system requirements
from development groups and business units for assigned projects.
- Provides input to manager on technical options for a set of
requirements and develops a solution once the approval is obtained before
discussing with customer.
- Consulting with manager participates in evaluation of new applications,
developments in field of expertise, and evolving business needs to recommend
appropriate solutions and alternatives.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves application support issues
pertaining to the Documentum environment.
- Answers questions from functional users regarding usability of the
Documentum/Documentum related toolset.
- Documents all alternatives and provides information to Manager or
Project Manager.
- Provide support and training to end users.
- Ensures all implementation projects transition to operations adequately
by reviewing project material.
- Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of
field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and
business strategy.
- Responsible for translating business requirements into systems
qualities and thence into repeatable design strategies and patterns that
enable those qualities.
- Prepares training aids to end users as a part of software roll-out as
assigned.
*Required Education, Skills and Experience:** *
- *Gathering Requirements *
- *Understanding UML*
- *Bachelors’ degree* from an accredited university in IT related
discipline, or equivalent professional experience/combined education.
- *5+ years of experience as business analyst*
- Must have several years of experience in *documenting requirements for
CMMi level 4 or above companies*.
- *Understanding of Web Application Development using Java and preferably
Documentum Platform is necessary*.
- *Excellent communications skills and ability to interface with the
business community*.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle is essential.
- MS Office products.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and negotiation abilities.
- Superior organizational skills, as well as excellent written, oral and
presentational communication abilities in order to work with all levels of
staff and management.
- Ability to work independently and keep senior management adequately
informed.
- *Strong knowledge of systems and business processes*.
- Demonstrated ability to work in matrix team environments, including
strong stakeholder interface capability.
