He or she should also participate in the design of databases, loading of data and so on. An efficient Programmer should additionally manage and identify issues and risks and do his/her best to solve them. He or she should also participate in program release activities and sometimes work directly with customers or with technical support specialists so as to resolve technical issues. Additionally, Programmer has to develop test plans and software test cases.
