*Job Title : Senior Business Intelligence Developer Location : **Oak Brook, IL Duration : 6+ Months* *Description : * The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will report to the Business Intelligence team which is responsible for Data Warehouse modeling & design, ETL development, Enterprise reporting - analysis, requirements gathering and report development. The ideal candidate should demonstrate thorough knowledge of BI, data warehouse development, and data analysis. *Responsibilities: * - Contribute substantially in the Data Warehouse development lifecycle including gathering and understating of requirements, data and ETL design, database and report development, and testing using SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence Development tools - Integration Services, Analysis Services & Reporting Services. - Design and build new data aggregations for ongoing data analysis and reporting. - Utilize data analysis techniques and queries to provide ad-hoc reports, analysis, and datasets based on business needs. - Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, recommend and implement process improvements. - Provide expert advice and consultation on redbox data structures. - Work with other teams to understand business rules and interpret data. - Maintain an ongoing knowledge of both the technical data model and the business’ strategic needs. *Requirements:* - 5+ years of IT experience with core expertise in data analysis, query design, and reporting.
