*Job Title : Java J2EE developer * *Location : Vernon Hills, IL* *Duration : 4+ Months contract* Description Java J2EE developer to develop a number of web based user interface screens against an Oracle 10g database schema. Developer will also be required to modify/develop PL/SQL code (stored procedures and Functions within Packages) to support the screen logic. Developer will be working on enhancements to a validated system. Requirements: 1) Java 1.5 using Eclipse IDE and deploying to a WebSphere Application Server (6.n) 2) Oracle SQL procedure and function syntax skills 3) Spring, Struts, Spring Security (ACEGI) experience. 4) Develop and execute unit/system test cases, scripts and plans. 5) Understand and follow appropriate SDLC, quality validation processes and application processes. 6) Communicate status, solutions and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team and across functions or teams. 7) Solid knowledge of the application development process. 8) Strong communication skills (verbal/written/listening). 9) Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills. 10) Must be detailed oriented and able to work within a team setting. 11) Experience with formal peer review and code documentation processes.
