Experience: 10+ years Hyperion Planning/Essbase experience At least 3-4 Project Management experience in Essbase/Planning Essential Functions (Responsibilities): 1) Should have 10+ years of Hyperion Planning/Essbase/Reports experience. Ver 9/11 2) Should have Global Large-scale Hyperion implementation experience with Fortune 500 companies with proven success 3) PMI Certified 4) Ability to interact with, report out and make recommendations to executive level steering committee 5) Should have good SME knowledge of Hyperion Planning/Essbase (Ver 11) 6) Should have managed Global Large-scale full cycle Hyperion implementations 7) Should have the ability to interact with the customer at all levels and manage onsite and offshore teams. 8) Reviewing requirements and translating requirements into Hyperion Planning/Essbase solution 9) Ability to layout Industry Standard framework for Financial Planning and Analysis in Hyperion Planning/Essbase tool Qualifications/Requirements: 1) Work directly with Client and/or with functional users to identify, analyze reporting requirements, translate them into DB/ETL/Reporting design specifications documents, with details on the approach to address and resolve the business needs. 2) Own and Design the Application Outline and various processes 3) Provide necessary functional expertise to augment the technical expertise as required (blend of techno-functional skills) to properly transition from the current requirements team to this technical design and implementation team 4) Accountable for end to end design on DB/ETL/Reporting requirements by owning the design phase of the project 5) EPM Installation & Configuration 6) Hyperion system administration 7) Backup Strategies & Implementation 8) Work closely with the development teams during the development phase of the project to ensure Proper standards and processes are followed 9) Design in fact meets the requirements CTQs 1) Reporting Exp (Interactive/Web Analysis Reports) 2) Proper unit/integrated test plans are written and tested 3) Project Management & people management exp 4) database design and build 5) database optimisation 6) build rules/ load rules 7) calc script development 8) EssCmd/MaxL Scripting 9) Security/administration 1) Good experience in Hyperion Essbase application design and development, focussing on ASO and BSO combination, partitions along Shared Services 2) Energetic and keen to taking technical challenges to explore new areas. 3) Good Functional and technical experience in Hyperion Planning and Budgeting 4) Equipped with financial knowledge in budgeting, cost allocation, reporting and forecasting 5) Demonstrated knowledge of both native security and Shared Services security 6) Technical documentation Desired: 1) At least 10 Yrs Exp in Essbase/Planning/Reporting 9/11 2) EPM Installation/Administration Experience 3) Good experience in multidimensional analysis, designing applications and databases, designing and building dimensions, loading data, calculating data and aggregation techniques General: 1) Exposure to Finance Department or ledger systems 2) Excellent problem solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, Structured, methodical thinker 3) Full understanding of project life cycle and development methodologies 4) Ability to work in synergy with multiple teams of developers and business partners is highly essential. 5) Mature outlook and upholds high standards of professional integrity. *Thanks and Regards,* G.
