Title: Senior WebSphere Performance Tester
Location: Warren, NJ.
Duration : 6 months
Rate: As per the market (DOE)
WebSphere Performance Tester will be responsible for architecture, and
application support of an extreme availability, high-performance WebSphere
infrastructure for the Infrastructure/Performance team.
As a Technical Specialist, the candidate will be responsible for performance
testing,capacity analysis, WebSphere configuration and setup.
Candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting problems in our test and
production systems.Review of open WebSphere support tickets.
Tracking of Critical WebSphere patches. Developer and other support
personnel training. Architecture helps with Software implementation.
Troubleshooting expertise. Capacity and Stability reporting and design
specific to WebSphere servers and services.
Capacity planning and projections for a large / high capacity reporting
environment.
Participate in performance analysis and tuning projects of the reporting
infrastructure with the associated applications.
Mentoring junior staff and providing technical leadership to large-scale
projects.
Lead initiative to develop scripts and other programs for system monitoring
and maintenance.
Development/Computing Environment:
Knowledge of WebSphere(J2EE, JMS, etc) ; Unix System Administration
experience in order to troubleshoot system problems.
Complete understanding of backup and recovery operational processes and
technologies.
Ability to manage risk appropriately.
Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.
Skills Required:
WEBSPHERE, J2EE, JMS, UNIX, SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION, TUNING, CAPACITY
PLANNING, CONFIGURATION;
