Position: Data Analyst Location: Des Moines, IA Duration: 3-6 Months (could extend upto 18 months for the right candidate) Not to Exceed Rate: $$40/hr *Required Skills* 1. Any experience, knowledge and or exposure to “meta data management” which involves “storing information about other information”. Meta data management is the process of centralizing and relating metadata from disparate sources throughout large organizations. Must have “functional” understanding of “data linkage, lineage and transformations”. 2. Technical Data Base experience, can be in former roles as any of the following: Data Analyst, DBA, Developer, Data Mapper, etc. 3. Data bases used: Oracle, DB2/UDB, Mainframe (VSAM) - Ideal consultant will have experience with all 3, but will consider those with some. 4. Proven experience or ability to build a data base or load data to a private server in order to write & execute test scripts 5. Must have EXCEPTIONAL analytical skills, attention to detail, communication and ability to multi-task and be flexible in fast moving environment 6.
