Sr Java Developer (GWT) Job Description: Sr Java Developer Location – Alpharetta, GA Duration – Long Term Contract (6 months+) to Perm Technologies: Must: Java 1.5 or higher, Linux v4.7 or higher, and Oracle 10g The application sits on a Linux OS and uses Oracle as DB, the middle and back end code are in Java with front end .Net framework. Candidates that have a combination of the following technologies and tools would be most qualified for this role: JBoss, Hibernate, spring, GWT (GXT) and Data Modeling exp. Soft Skills: Strong communication, personal and diplomatic skills, understands how to analyze a technical environment and know how to help roadmap towards common objective. Work well with peers and subordinates, know how to mentor and teach. Additional Notes: The qualified developer must have core java skills responsible for developing across all three tiers in a client server environment, understand design and preferably have a computer science degree. The key component is for the resource to have development experience with Google Web Toolkit or similar Web 2.0 technologies. This is an AGILE PROJECT, so they have to have worked on an Agile project before, and be willing to do test driven development. They are using the Hibernate framework for their middle tier to backend, some Spring MVC on the front to middle tier, JDK 1.5, and Google Web Toolkit for there UI with GXT, all interacting with Oracle databases.
