Demonstrated hands-on experience in the development and testing of client-server, WEB-based application. Experience with *Java/J2EE, Spring, Tiles, XML, XLST, Java Servlets, JSP, Java Beans, SOAP, Web services, JDBC, HTTP, HTML, SOCKETS, SQL, PL/SQL, and application servers (i.e. Websphere).* Familiarity with Oracle. Demonstrated hands-on experience in UNIX (preferably Solaris) environment and related UNIX utilities including shell scripts. Ability to lead small to mid size project teams Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel. Preferred: The candidate ideally should possess subject matter expertise in the following application areas: Apache Packages, OS Cache etc. Working knowledge of *Adobe Lifecycle data services/ blaze DS. * Performance and stress testing including Java profiling Understanding of how to apply UML and common design patterns.
