Database Administrator / MS SQL Server Developer Required Skills • In- depth working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 DBMS. • In-depth working knowledge of T-SQL, views and multi-table joins. • In- depth knowledge of report systems such as Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Data Warehouse concepts. • Working knowledge of all versions of MS Word, Excel, Windows Server, .NET framework and Web technologies • Knowledge of networking and internet protocols (IP). • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work professionally with diverse internal and external contacts at all levels. • In-depth knowledge of creating and maintaining stored procedures. Experience: • Act as primary backup for all Database Administrator functions, including but not limited to database design, performance monitoring, performance enhancements and data modeling in the Microsoft SQL environment. • One to two years experience with Microsoft .NET framework, ASP.NET web application development, and Web technologies. • Four to five years experience in the following areas: o MS SQL (2000 or greater) database management. o Crystal Reports v11 or higher o Database maintenance. Education or Formal Training • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
