*Hi Friends..............* *1)DB2 Luw Sybase DBA* *Lansing, MI* *6month contract with extensions* *Phone Interview* *2 CONTRACT OPENINGS* • Contractor that has both db2luw and sybase experience. • Midlevel person (not a senior DBA) to perform day-to-day database support activities and project work under the guide of a senior DBA. • Duties will include: database change control, responding to production alerts, supporting developers, creating instances and databases, troubleshooting. • Must be able to work independently. • Must have good communication. • I need two contractors (they both need to have both sybase and db2luw experience). • To start on June 30th. It is a lot of busy work providing day-to-day care and feeding of the database environment. There will be plenty of instances and databases to create but that requires following their canned procedures and scripts. Not a whole lot of creativity.
