*Role: BMC Technical Architect* *Location: Minneapolis * *Rate: DOE* *Duration:* *6 months* * * * * *Catchwords: Technical Infrastructure, OS Monitoring, Application Monitoring, BMC, Control-M* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Description* BMC Technical Expert for managing the installation and configuration of BMC tools for OS level server monitoring, Oracle Database monitoring and monitoring SAP servers using BMC SAP adapter. Individual will be working closely with Target shared services team in defining a plan and support the implementation of BMC monitoring tools. *Activities:* The activities of the *BMC Technical Architect include:* - Provide instructions and guidance to target Shared services to monitor production and non-production TGT$100 project environments using BMC tools. Individual should work closely with Target Shared services to install, configure and test all the monitoring capabilities. Co-ordinate with various teams such as shared services, Infrastructure support and third party professional services well in advance to deliver the configured monitoring capabilities for infrastructure environments on time. - Close collaboration with Technical/Infrastructure Architect, Lead Application Architects, and Engagement Manager to ensure monitoring related infrastructure project activities are on track and issues/risks are addressed and resolved in timely fashion. - Strong verbal and written communications skills. - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. *Candidate Qualifications* *General Skills:* - Communicates ideas well to executives and team members - Speaks authoritatively - Speaks knowledgably - Listens well - Motivated to learn continuously - Able to prioritize assignments - High analytical ability - Functions with multiple reports - Non-partisan and acts like they work for Target - Motivational skills to elicit work - Functions as team leader - Knows the difference between assertive and aggressive * * *Required Experience* * * -Experience in working with infrastructure type projects like installations deployments. -*Experience in installing and configuring BMC monitoring tools.
