Rachel,
if his Mother is Irish, all he needs to do is ask for the passport - once
he has it - you can apply for one as long as you've been married for over
three years i think , again try the government sit http://www.irlgov.ie

Rachel,
The quarantine laws are the same as the UK - put your pet in quarantine for
6 months to see if it has rabies -
a bit cruel these days when you figure that they can probably tell you
within a week or so if your pet is ill.
If you've never thought about Dublin - you should - I worked
Tim,
that's fairly accurate from what i'm told. But it only goes as far back as
your grandparents - if you can provide a birth cert and other documentation
to prove that it's your granny then yes you can get the passport.
And it is also true that once you have that , you can work anywhere in
in your oracle /bin directory - you need to alter (Or create) a login.sql
file
here's what mine looks like - feel free to alter
/* start */

I happen to have done some fairly extensive research on the Irish version

but the results are mixed.

Careful about using 999 numbers , the IRS actually use these for non
resident taxpayers. (Spouses of H1- B visa holders etc)
For all you H1-B's out there, if your H4 other half can't get an SSN, then
they must have a
number from the INS called a TaxPayer ID number (TIN).
Otherwise the banks

Check this out quickly before
Stephane,
stick to your guns - part of the dba's job (as I see it, and try to do )
is to help guide the developers in the best way to do things on the database
if it's your choice that they should do an alter table, then that's what they
should do.
don't give in.

I didn't know there were so many Douglas Adams fans out there on the list,
I've been following the hitchhikers guide since it first appeared as a radio
show
back in the UK, the TV show never did justice to the books or the radio show but
was till fantastic.
I love all of Douglas Adams stuff.
Rocky,
She lost the bet and got a raise - go figure !
well done lisa , we still wish you were back in Eden Prairie !
